Day 181 - Flashback Fail

One year ago today, Caroline was practicing using the potty. She wasn't quite ready, but now she is!

Day 180 - Face

Caroline decided to catch her fall with her face today. OUCH. She was such a trooper though... after a couple of minutes crying she said, "Is it time to swim now?" She finished her swim lesson and came home to pass out cold.

Day 179 - New things

Caroline helping me play games on my new phone, and the kid's first swim lesson!

Day 173 - Nap

There's nothing like a sleeping baby. She was sleeping so deep, it took me a while to wake her for dinner. Love this girl. :)

Day 171 - Father's Day!

Day 170 - Play SInk

The kids "washed some dishes" today! It was pretty hot today, but the kids had been cooped up long enough... I had to get them outside (despite me still feeling like crap). Thankfully, this kept them entertained for a good hour!

Day 169 - Teeth

Realizing we had not taken a picture yet today, I had Jim take this pic of the kids brushing their teeth before bedtime. They normally fight over who will "go first", but they decided tonight they could do it together.

Day 168 - Cobbler

Today, despite feeling under the weather, I found the energy to make this amazing dessert... Chocolate Cobbler. Sounds bizarre, but it is rich and delicious! I found it on the Tasty Kitchen blog. Try it!

Day 167 - Lollipop

Time to break into the giant lollipops the kids got when we were at Mount Vernon in March. They were very excited and barely made a dent in them! Jack put his in a cup and into the fridge "for later"... LOL!

Day 166 - New Chair?

Silly kids! At least the laundry was done. :)

Day 165 - Flashback Fail

Day 164 - Tape Web

I had a crazy idea to turn our old dry erase board into a display for our kids artwork. Grabbed some sheet metal, liquid nails, and trim, and here you have it. Jim created this "web" to keep the trim in place while the liquid nails dries... we'll see how this crazy thing turns out!

Day 163 - Family Dinner

My husband grilled this yummy ribeye and corn for dinner! And Martta brought me a new bacon dark chocolate bar from her adventure in Chicago. It was so yummy!!

Day 162 - Aftermath

The Bunco aftermath. 10 bottles of wine + a late night of dancing = success!

Day 161 - Cobbler

Fresh individual raspberry & blueberry cobblers, right from the oven. Hope my Bunco crew like them!

Day 160 - Computer Game

Jim let Jack play a puzzle computer game, so here he is trying to coax the block on-screen with his head!

Day 159 - Declutter

In an attempt to declutter the kitchen counters for my Bunco hosting duties, I took the toaster oven out of this corner and added these goodies. It was a great spot for the wine glasses and wine!

Day 158 - Summer!

Here is how we spent most of our first official day out of school... in PJ's, and watching some TV.

Day 157 - I "heart" Yardwork

Jim had a blast mowing the lawn and doing some other yard work this morning! It's summer!

Day 156 - Flashback Fail

Apparently, we failed at taking a pic today, so here is June 5, 2009. Jackson's last day of preschool!! He is with his buddy from preschool who we don't see anymore. :(

Day 155 - New Dress

Caroline received this adorable dress & shoes (along with some hair accessories) from some of our good friends for her birthday. She had fun spinning and showing off for me!

Day 154 - Class Gift

Tomorrow is the last day of school, so the kids presented Mrs. Sandobal with her gift. A gift card tree with a bunch of fun gift cards! Jackson is on the far left with the Laker t-shirt :) It was also pajama day, but he just wanted to wear his comfy shorts that we rarely let him wear out of the house.

Day 153 - Treats

This morning Jackson had Donuts with Dad at school... he was so excited! And Caroline and I made sugar cookies with sprinkles like Fancy Nancy.

Day 152 - Crib

We finally took the crib down after finishing C's bed. So sad. Now we just need one of our sisters to have a baby!
