Day 240 - Roller Skating

A friend of mine had her 40th birthday party at a roller rink today. I took Jackson, and he had a blast! He was hesitant at first, but after watching me skate a few minutes, he decided to give it a go! This "skate buddy" made it much easier for the little kids to stay upright!

Day 239 - Books vs. Game

Jack struggles to decide which activity he would prefer to do... costume catalog or video game... it's a tough choice for him!

Day 234 - Belated Birthday

Since we were in CA for Jackson's birthday, Auntie Martta was kind enough to make him an amazing cake when we returned! He loved the book she gave him as well, and had a hard time putting it down for dinner! Thank you Auntie Martta, we loved the Lego Indiana Jones cake!

Day 233 - Sample

I received 2 paint samples from Glidden through a campaign they were having a few weeks ago. I thought I'd try one of them on these canvases. My plan is to put a quatrefoil design on them with a stencil I printed online... we'll see how it turns out! It's hard to tell in the terrible light, but it's a gray-green color called "Dusty Miller".

Day 229 - Going Home

We're headed back to our home in Texas... we've had so much fun in CA the past month, and will miss our family & friends. See you again in December!

Day 226 - Great Grandma's 80th!

We took a trip to San Diego's Paradise Point Resort to celebrate Great Grandma's 80th Birthday! It was so fun to reunite with some of our extended family we don't see very often, and celebrate an amazing lady! Here are some of her grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

We had a great visit to the Reagan Library today... walked through Air Force One, and Jackson loved the old Police vehicles from the 80's!

Day 221 - Olson Family

Today we had a great visit with my Dad's parents and sister! Thanks to G&G, and Auntie Genia for making the drive! We had so much fun visiting with you! Auntie Bridget and the kids had to show off their fishy lips!

Day 220 - Reunion

Today we met some of my friends at the park... friends I've known since Jr. High! Love you T, B & K! Caroline had fun climbing up the tower and sliding. That evening, we had dinner with Great Grandma at my parents house... Caroline asked her to read them a story. :)
